Pick from three heights, Ocelot at 60cm, Sundra at 70cm, or Jaguarundi at 80cm, with custom sizes over 80cm on request. The solid oak base often has natural cracks filled with resin, and the base material and sisal thickness are set with the workshop as part of the build.
Each is handcrafted to order in Devon and reaches you within about fourteen days. You can also choose a handmade Rodney Rat or Fluff Ball toy, attached to the scratcher or loose.

Made in Devon
Sophisticated Scratch is a small family workshop in Devon, England, at work since 2017. Each piece is cut and built to order by hand from sustainable English oak, so the wait is a little longer than a mass-market post and no two are quite alike.
Why oak and sisal
Solid oak gives the weight that keeps a scratcher from tipping when a cat throws itself at it, and the sisal rope is the texture cats actually want to work. The natural oak limbs mean the grain and shape vary from one to the next, which is the point.
