Catnap keeps the footprint small and the comfort high. A birch plywood shell under solid ash veneer holds a thick recyclable polypropylene fiber pad, the sort of surface a cat kneads before settling. The low sides make it easy to step into and still give a sense of being held.
It suits a quiet corner or the end of a room rather than the middle of the floor, and there is a blackboard on the front if you want to name it.

Halcyon Home was started in 2011 by Marc Pujol and Christina Scheper-Prat, who design and make every piece themselves at their own studio in Taradell, just outside Barcelona. Precision machining meets hand finishing, so each piece is built to last rather than to a price.
Made responsibly
The wood is birch plywood with an FSC certified ash veneer, the soft surfaces are one hundred percent recycled polypropylene, and the finish is a simple oil and wax. Raw materials come from certified suppliers, and both the products and their packaging are recyclable.
We like Catnap for small homes, where a bed has to be properly comfortable without taking a whole corner of the room.
