Baco Cat House

About the Baco Cat House

The Baco Cat House a hand-woven rattan cocoon that wraps the cat in a warm, enclosed nest, raised on polished steel.

Baco is a hand-woven cocoon, a rattan shell coiled by hand into an enclosed nest a cat can curl deep inside, raised on a polished stainless steel base so it reads as furniture rather than a basket on the floor. The natural rattan breathes and warms with use, and the open mouth gives a cat the covered, den-like retreat it looks for while still letting it keep one eye on the room. Drop in the Giglio cushion, in velvet or microfiber, for the padded floor that turns it into a proper bed.

Made in Italy by Brandodesign

The Brando Collection is the work of architect Pierangelo Brandolisio, who draws each piece as furniture in its own right rather than pet gear parked in a corner. Everything is made in Italy with selected materials and real craft, from oil-finished birch plywood and solid walnut to corten steel and hand-woven rattan.

Designed around the animal

Proportions, materials and details are worked out around how a cat actually rests, hides and climbs, so the piece holds its own in a considered room and still gives your cat somewhere it wants to be.
