The Torre Cat Scratcher a freestanding scratching column on a leather-covered base, tall enough for a cat to stretch its whole body.
Torre treats the scratching post as a design object. A solid oak or walnut column rises from a low, weighted steel base wrapped in cowhide, heavy enough to stay put when a cat throws its whole body at it and tall enough for a proper full-stretch scratch rather than a crouch. The column is wound with cord you swap out as it wears, natural jute or a run of bright polypropylene colors, and a slim wand arcs overhead with a toy to carry the play on from the scratch. Choose the oak or walnut wood and a camel or grey cowhide base to suit the room; one cord is included.
Made in Italy by Brandodesign
The Brando Collection is the work of architect Pierangelo Brandolisio, who draws each piece as furniture in its own right rather than pet gear parked in a corner. Everything is made in Italy with selected materials and real craft, from oil-finished birch plywood and solid walnut to corten steel and hand-woven rattan.
