Arco takes the feeder off the ground entirely. Raketa designed it as a floating L-shape that mounts to the wall at whatever height suits your cat, so eating happens in a natural upright pose and splashes hit the board instead of your floor and baseboard. The HPL-coated surface is tough and water-repellent, built to take daily wet food.
A clever sliding system lets you lift the whole feeder off for cleaning whenever you need to. Silicone rings keep the stainless bowls quiet, and the bowls are dishwasher safe and sold separately.
A German design house
MiaCara is a family run German label from Herzogenaurach, started by Sebastian and Barbara Zweig. It began with their Labrador, Cara, who turned her nose up at a cheap foam cushion, and grew into a full design house that launched its cat line in 2015. The credo is form follows function, innovate rather than imitate, so every piece is drawn to work first and then to sit quietly in a room.
Made in Europe, made to last
Most of the range is manufactured in Germany and Europe from hand picked suppliers, under fair conditions and short transport routes. MiaCara leans on recycled materials wherever it can: felt spun from recycled PET bottles, recycled aluminium, recycled foam, and fabric made from upcycled ocean plastic through the Seaqual initiative. Packaging is FSC certified or recycled, and the workshop has run on certified green electricity since 2021.
Award winning design
MiaCara's work has been recognised with design awards, among them a German Design Award and a Red Dot, and each piece is credited to the studio or designer behind it.
Getting the bowls off the floor helps older cats and cramped kitchens alike, and Arco pulls it off as a wall piece worth looking at. The slide-off cleaning is what won us over.
