Torre is a cat tower that behaves like a piece of design. A solid real-wood base gives it the weight to stay planted through a hard scratch, and a large curved plywood panel wrapped in durable needle felt runs up one side for full-body clawing. Regina Mol crowned it with an elevated top, a small stage where a cat can survey the whole room.
It comes in two sizes and two finishes, and the faux fur cushions for the top are sold separately. Wipe the wood clean, and vacuum the felt rather than wetting it.
Most cat towers are eyesores; Torre is the rare one we would set in a living room on purpose. Its solid-wood base takes a full-body scratch without the wobble that sinks cheaper posts.
