The big shelf is the generous landing on an Alto wall, a wide oak platform where a cat can stretch out fully and watch the room from height. It clicks into the Structure wherever you want a rest stop along the climb, and the oak veneer keeps it looking like built-in furniture.
Use it as the main lounging spot on a busy wall, or pair a couple for cats that like to keep their distance from each other.
The big shelf is where a cat chooses to sprawl and survey, and it is the first module we tell people to add after the Structure. A wall without one is a climb with nowhere to rest.
