The Grotto proves small does not mean simple. In a tidy footprint it packs a range of spaces, each with a different degree of seclusion, so a bold cat and a shy one can share it and both feel at home. There is somewhere to sleep, scratch, hunt, and play across its levels.
The bamboo panels are cut with triangle windows that sharpen the view and invite ambush play and paw-swipes between cats. Down low sits an extra-large hammock near the ground, ideal for a kitten or a timid cat, framed by canvas into a private cubby. The middle level mirrors that with a snug cubby open above and below for games, and the top offers an extra-large hammock with ledges to lean on and lookouts on every side.
We chose the Grotto for small spaces with big personalities, a compact tree that still gives a shy cat and a bold cat each their own kind of spot.
