A pair of short felt steps that do the quiet work of a cat wall. They give a cat the half stride between the floor and a higher perch, so a window sill or the top of a cabinet stops being a leap and becomes a walk. Sold as a duo, they are the pieces you reach for when a climbing run needs one more foothold.

The felt is firm enough to hold a landing and soft enough that a cat will rub its face along the edge to claim it. Each step is spun from recycled PET bottles and sits on a color matched stainless steel bracket, so the hardware disappears into the wall and the shelf looks like it grew there.

Up in an afternoon

Each climber ships with its mounting hardware in the box: an Allen key, toggle bolts, screws, and wall plugs sized for hollow drywall or solid brick and concrete. The four piece sets add paper spacing templates, so you can plan the layout and mark the holes before a single one is drilled. One shelf goes up in a few minutes, and a whole wall is an afternoon. Tested to hold up to 55 lb (25 kg), so it takes a big cat landing at speed.

Felt from bottles, not trees

The felt is spun from 100 percent recycled PET, the same plastic drink bottles would otherwise become landfill. It is firm enough to hold a shelf's shape and soft enough that a cat rubs its face along the edge to claim it, and when it finally wears you swap the felt slices instead of the whole shelf.

Pryde Pets is a family run studio in Brisbane, Australia, where the climbers are cut, sanded, and finished by hand. The shapes are modular on purpose: start with a single shelf or the four piece set, watch where the cat actually goes, then add steps, a lounger, or a nest to extend the route. Every piece lines up with what is already on the wall, so the setup grows with the cat instead of being a one time buy.
