Rodney Rat and the Fluff Ball are made by hand from natural sheepskin and sisal. Cats respond to the smell and feel of the wool, and the lanolin in it tends to settle them, while the sisal gives claws something to catch.
Each comes on a one-meter sisal cord so you can tie it to a post or trail it across the floor. Choose the shape you want and note whether you would like brown or cream at checkout.

Sophisticated Scratch is a small family workshop in Devon, England, at work since 2017. Each piece is cut and built to order by hand from sustainable English oak, so the wait is a little longer than a mass-market post and no two are quite alike.
Why oak and sisal
Solid oak gives the weight that keeps a scratcher from tipping when a cat throws itself at it, and the sisal rope is the texture cats actually want to work. The natural oak limbs mean the grain and shape vary from one to the next, which is the point.
