This pairs the Curved nest with the facade that turns it into a den. The facade wraps the open side with a soft felt wall and a small window, so a shy cat gets an enclosed hideaway while still keeping an eye on the room through the cutout. It is the setup that timid cats claim first.

Both pieces are firm recycled PET felt with rounded edges, mounted on the hidden stainless steel bracket. Bought together they cost a little less than separately, and they arrive matched in the same finish.

Up in an afternoon

Each climber ships with its mounting hardware in the box: an Allen key, toggle bolts, screws, and wall plugs sized for hollow drywall or solid brick and concrete. The four piece sets add paper spacing templates, so you can plan the layout and mark the holes before a single one is drilled. One shelf goes up in a few minutes, and a whole wall is an afternoon. Tested to hold up to 55 lb (25 kg), so it takes a big cat landing at speed.

Felt from bottles, not trees

The felt is spun from 100 percent recycled PET, the same plastic drink bottles would otherwise become landfill. It is firm enough to hold a shelf's shape and soft enough that a cat rubs its face along the edge to claim it, and when it finally wears you swap the felt slices instead of the whole shelf.

Pryde Pets is a family run studio in Brisbane, Australia, where the climbers are cut, sanded, and finished by hand. The shapes are modular on purpose: start with a single shelf or the four piece set, watch where the cat actually goes, then add steps, a lounger, or a nest to extend the route. Every piece lines up with what is already on the wall, so the setup grows with the cat instead of being a one time buy.
