Baie Cowhide Rug for Dune

About the Baie Cowhide Rug for Dune

The Baie Cowhide Rug for Dune a shaped cowhide drape that softens the Dune bed and makes the cat's rest that bit more inviting.

Baie is a single piece of real cowhide cut to the shape of the Dune bed, a soft leather drape that lays over the oiled wood to warm it up and give a cat a natural surface to settle on. The hide is tear-resistant and sun-safe, wipes clean, and comes in grey or camel to sit with the wood. It is sized to each Dune, small, medium or large, and any marks or grain in the leather are part of the material rather than faults.

Made in Italy by Brandodesign

The Brando Collection is the work of architect Pierangelo Brandolisio, who draws each piece as furniture in its own right rather than pet gear parked in a corner. Everything is made in Italy with selected materials and real craft, from oil-finished birch plywood and solid walnut to corten steel and hand-woven rattan.

Designed around the animal

Proportions, materials and details are worked out around how a cat actually rests, hides and climbs, so the piece holds its own in a considered room and still gives your cat somewhere it wants to be.
