This is the two-house layout for walls that cannot take the full three-hexagon spread. You still get the bridge, so a cat can cross between the houses rather than leap, and the basket adds a place to slump at the end of the climb.
Birch plywood does the structural work and felt softens the inside of each hexagon. It is a tidy little circuit for one cat, or a pair that takes turns on the bridge.
