This litter is made from cassava and corn instead of clay, which changes almost everything about the daily box. It clumps hard and fast, so a full scoop lifts out clean rather than crumbling and sinking to the bottom of the tray. The starch base pulls in moisture and neutralizes odor on its own, so there is no heavy perfume papering over the smell.
The mixed grain is the clever part, larger pieces blended with fine ones, which is what keeps the dust down and the tracking low. Kittens, cats with sensitive paws, and cats prone to allergies or asthma tend to do well with it, since there is next to no dust to breathe in or scatter across the floor.
