Plenty of cats will not use a covered box, they want to see the room while they go. The Poh gives them an open box with a considered shape, low enough to step into easily and smooth enough to rinse clean in seconds.
It is made from recycled ABS and finished to sit out in the open without looking like standard litter gear.

Hoopo is a Dutch studio founded by Marcus with a simple mission: make cat things that are good for the cat and easy on the eye. Nothing here is a mass import. Hoopo develops every piece itself, alongside designers, cat behavior specialists, and cat nutrition experts, shaping each detail around how cats actually drink, step, and scratch.
Made to last, made responsibly
Where it can, Hoopo builds from recycled or plant based materials: recycled ABS on the hooded boxes, stainless steel on the open ones, pine and thick sisal on the scratchers, and a plant based tofu litter that composts. The Tofu litter was named an award winning cat litter brand in 2025.
An open box that actually looks good is hard to find. The Poh is one we would leave in plain sight rather than hide in a utility room.
