About the Nuvola Medium Pet Bed
The larger Nuvola Medium Pet Bed on the same solid ash base, the Medium size sized by Labilla for medium dogs and roomy enough for a large cat.
Part of the Nuvola collection
Nuvola is Valeria Pompa's family of pet beds for cats and dogs of every size, a soft, enveloping form built like furniture. The Medium size, 95 by 75 cm, gives a large cat room to stretch and is sized by Labilla for medium dogs such as a Cocker, Beagle or Corgi.
A raised solid ash base
The base is solid ash, a full 4 cm thick, lifted off the floor on aluminum feet with stainless steel hardware. Elastic straps hold the cushion in place and let air move underneath, so the bed stays fresh and reads as a piece of furniture rather than pet gear.
The cushion
The filling is certified to the Global Recycled Standard, spun from recycled PET. It is hypoallergenic and light, and it springs back to its natural volume the moment your pet gets up, so the bed always looks neat. The cover is a soft, velvet-like technical microfiber, scratch resistant and water repellent, which keeps daily cleaning quick.
Made to order in Italy
Each Nuvola is made to order in your choice of wood finish and fabric, built in Italian workshops certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. A registered design, made in Italy.
Made in Italy, drawn like furniture
Labilla is an Italian studio that makes pet pieces the way it makes furniture, in solid ash, real marble and technical fabrics, designed by Valeria Pompa and built in certified Italian workshops. None of it reads as pet gear.
A note on the Natural Ash finish
Please note: the images of the Natural Ash finish are for illustrative purposes only. As this is natural solid wood, variations in the grain and color may occur, including significant variations, depending on the specific batch of timber and the position of the cut. This is a typical characteristic of a natural solid wood product that has not undergone industrial treatments, and it is what makes each piece exclusive and unique.
