This is a floor-to-ceiling cat tree held in place by tension between the floor and the ceiling, so it needs no drilling and no screws in the wall. That makes it a rare fit for a rental or for anyone who does not want holes in the plaster, while still giving a cat a tall run to climb.
The set is a full tower: four posts wrapped in cotton rope, three platforms to perch and nap on, a ceiling mount, a base plate, and a safety cable. Each platform is rated to hold a heavy cat, so it suits large and active breeds. Choose the height to match your ceiling, and pick birch or natural alder to suit the room.
The ceiling needs to be solid, concrete or wood. Stretch ceilings will not work, and plasterboard may need a custom solution.
The whole design is modular, so if a post or a platform wears out you swap that one part rather than replace the whole piece. The posts are wrapped in 8 mm cotton rope that stands up to sharp claws without fraying or shedding bits across the floor.

- Care: Wipe the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Brush the cotton rope to keep it clean, and rewrap the posts when they wear.
