Marina Wave Cat Scratcher
A curved cardboard wave that works as a scratcher and a lounger at once.
Final/Total cost shown at checkout
Marina takes the plain cardboard scratcher and gives it a curve, a gentle wave a cat can rake down the slope of and then flop into at the low point. It reads as a small sculpture rather than a pet product left on the floor.
It is made from recycled corrugated cardboard, the texture cats prefer, with a base that grips so the wave does not slide off across the room mid-scratch.

Mediterranean by design, natural by default
Althea Living is a Spanish studio that names its cat pieces like a chart of the coast, Timon, Marea, Faro, Isla, and builds them from materials that match, cork harvested without felling the tree, recycled cardboard, solid wood, jute and sisal. The idea is simple, cat furniture should be good for the cat, easy on the eye and light on the planet.
Made to be lived with
Each piece is shaped to sit in a real room rather than hide in a corner, and built from materials that renew themselves or recycle at the end of their life. It is cat gear you can leave in plain sight and feel good about.
The wave shape does real work, it turns a throwaway cardboard scratcher into something that lounges too and looks intentional in the room.
- Wave-shaped corrugated cardboard for scratching along the curve
- Dips into a shallow lounge a cat will settle into
- Recycled board, replaceable when it wears down
- Footed non-slip base keeps it in place
