H1 Cat Scratching Tree

The H1 is the first step into the H-Series. One platform, one run of sisal columns, and a footprint small enough for a studio, an apartment corner, or a single-cat home. It is pared back to what matters, without feeling like an entry-level compromise.

The frame is solid beech, the platform is beech multiplex rated to 30 kg, and the top is finished in wool felt. The sisal columns give your cat a full-height surface to stretch and scratch against. At 75 x 32 cm, it takes up little floor space while still giving a real perch to climb to.

Because it is modular, the H1 is never a dead end. Add a platform later and it becomes an H2, then an H3 or H4 if your cat wants more height. You buy once and keep building on it.

About H-Tree Studio

H-Tree Studio is a German design studio, based in Berlin, that builds cat furniture for people who care as much about their room as their cat. The work sits somewhere between Japandi craft and Berlin minimalism, with a close eye on how cats actually use vertical space. The idea is simple. A cat tree should earn its place in the home, not hide in a corner.

One system, four heights

Every tree is part of one modular system. H1 starts with a single platform at about 120 cm. H2, H3 and H4 add platforms and height, up to 270 cm. You can start small and add levels later, or scale back down if your space changes. Same materials, same proportions, same joinery at every step, so the tree grows with your cat instead of being replaced.

Honest materials

Solid beech and beech multiplex carry the load, with no MDF and no cardboard anywhere in the build. Platforms are topped with wool felt, and the scratching columns are wrapped in natural sisal. These are materials that age honestly and hold up to daily scratching, and each felt and sisal piece carries small variations in tone that come with the natural fiber.

Made in Europe

The H-Series is designed in Berlin and handcrafted in Europe. Platforms are rated to hold 30 kg, fixings and multilingual instructions come in the box, and assembly takes minutes with the included tools. It is built to be lived with for years, and to be repaired rather than thrown away.
