Curved Nest Facade Add-On

The peekaboo facade that turns a Curved nest into a hideaway.

A soft felt facade sized for the Curved nest climber. It wraps the open side and adds a small window, so a cat gets an enclosed den and can still watch the household through the cutout. Add it to a Curved nest you already own, or in a different color for contrast.

Firm recycled PET felt with rounded edges, matched to the finish of the shelf. It fits the Curved nest only.

Felt from bottles, not trees

The felt is spun from 100 percent recycled PET, the same plastic drink bottles would otherwise become landfill. It is firm enough to hold a shelf's shape and soft enough that a cat rubs its face along the edge to claim it, and when it finally wears you swap the felt slices instead of the whole shelf.

Pryde Pets is a family run studio in Brisbane, Australia, where the climbers are cut, sanded, and finished by hand. The shapes are modular on purpose: start with a single shelf or the four piece set, watch where the cat actually goes, then add steps, a lounger, or a nest to extend the route. Every piece lines up with what is already on the wall, so the setup grows with the cat instead of being a one time buy.
