Claw Care XL Scratch Pad

About the Claw Care XL Scratch Pad

The Claw Care XL Scratch Pad the XL is a generous 21.25 by 11.75 inch scratching surface on a solid real-wood base. It sits flat and low to the floor, so a cat can plant its paws, lean into a full stretch and scratch the way it would in the wild, without tipping or sliding.

The textured carpet pad gives claws something satisfying to pull against, which draws scratching away from the sofa and the carpet. When the pad eventually wears, it lifts off and is replaced, so the wood base keeps going for years instead of ending up in the trash like a shredded cardboard scratcher.

Handmade in the USA by JMLPets

JMLPets is a family workshop in Richmond, Virginia, run by Leigh and Michael Coffey. Every Claw-Care pad is cut and built by hand from real wood, designed around how cats actually scratch, stretch and settle rather than around what looks clever on a shelf. The carpet pad is replaceable, so the piece is built to last for years rather than to be thrown away.
