The Hive clusters four pinewood pods into a honeycomb that mounts on the wall, giving a cat a set of connected nooks to climb between and curl up in. It sits wider and lower than the tower, so it reads as a sculptural wall piece while still lifting the cat up and out of the household traffic.
Connected pods to roam and hide
The six-sided modules link into a cluster a cat moves through, choosing which nook to nap in by time of day and sunlight. More connected hiding spots than a vertical tower gives, in a shape that looks deliberate on the wall rather than improvised.
Pinewood sealed with bee wax
Each pod holds a soft cushion, and the pinewood is finished with water based paint and natural bee wax, a smooth surface that wipes clean and does not collect dust. The set includes four modules, a ladder, four cushions, and instructions. Assembled, it measures 29 by 38 by 18 inches on the wall.
Sheepskin or faux fur, your choice
Every level comes cushioned. Choose natural sheepskin, a soft real-wool pad, or faux fur, a vegan synthetic at the same price. Both read as the same plush cushion in the room, so the pick is about the material you prefer rather than the look.

Catissa is a small studio in Estonia, working between Haapsalu and Tallinn, that has been drawing modern cat furniture in a spare, Scandinavian style since 2013. The idea was simple: a cat tree should look like something you would keep in the room anyway, not a carpeted pole hidden in a corner. The work has been picked up by design press and collected a following of cat owners who care how their home looks.

The wood is sealed with water based varnish, paint, or natural bee wax, finishes that stay smooth, wipe clean, and keep the grain honest.
