A pet-safe cologne is the in-between step, a quick mist to take the edge off a coat that has gone a little stale without committing to a full wash. The cucumber and aloe scent is deliberately soft, which respects the fact that a cat lives by its nose and hates being drowned in fragrance.
A couple of sprays and a light brush-through is enough to reset a cat that has been napping in the same spot too long. Optional, but a nice touch for a cat that shares the bed.
