catissa-freestanding-cat-tower
Freestanding Modular Cat Tree, 4 Levels with Scratching Post

The same four-storey Catissa tower, built for people who would rather not drill into the wall. It stands on the floor on its own base and gives a cat the full height and the hideaways with none of the hardware, which makes it a rare find for renters and anyone wary of a mounting kit.

Four levels and a scratching post

Four pinewood modules stack into a climb with a soft cushion on each level, and a jute scratching post is worked into the frame so the clawing stays off your furniture. Each module is deep enough for a large cat to turn around and settle, so every floor is a usable bed rather than a perch.

The same art-like pinewood

It carries the same clean, sculptural look as the wall version, in pinewood finished with water based varnish and paint that wipes clean and does not gather dust. The set includes four modules, four cushions, and the scratching post, with all fittings and instructions in the box.

Sheepskin or faux fur, your choice

Every level comes cushioned. Choose natural sheepskin, a soft real-wool pad, or faux fur, a vegan synthetic at the same price. Both read as the same plush cushion in the room, so the pick is about the material you prefer rather than the look.

Designed and made in Estonia

Catissa is a small studio in Estonia, working between Haapsalu and Tallinn, that has been drawing modern cat furniture in a spare, Scandinavian style since 2013. The idea was simple: a cat tree should look like something you would keep in the room anyway, not a carpeted pole hidden in a corner. The work has been picked up by design press and collected a following of cat owners who care how their home looks.

Built to order, made to last

Every piece is cut and finished from solid pinewood and built to order, so it arrives made for your cat rather than pulled off a shelf. The wood is sealed with water based varnish, paint, or natural bee wax, finishes that stay smooth, wipe clean, and keep the grain honest. Because each order is made by hand, allow a little lead time, and know the piece is built once, properly, to live in your home for years.
